Hello all!
Here is the first draft of the new blog created for my other family to keep in touch and share information.
The layoffs were devastating to be sure, but right now I am not sure that they were more devastating than the itchy rash currently covering both of my arms. Because I had a difficult time sitting still, being home has only brought to light the long list of projects requiring my attention. One of those projects was to repair the planting bed in the front of the house. This required replacing the retaining wall constructed of pressure treated lumber. Naturally I neglected to wear gloves when I purchased the replacement timbers and am now suffering the consequences. Leper victims look more attractive than I do right now!
Other than that I am dividing my time between looking for a job and preparing for the 60th Wedding Anniversary party for my parents.
